Trap-neuter-return (TNR) is a fantastic, humane method for managing feral cat populations! This process traps, neuters, or spays, and returns cats, leading to fewer litters, improved health, and reduced noisy behaviors. TNR creates stable colonies, allowing these wonderful cats to thrive without overpopulation.
Why Become a Trapper?
Community cats rely on their caretakers and volunteers to provide them food and care, including spay and neuter services. There are currently more cats needing to be spayed or neutered than available TNR volunteers. By helping TNR cat colonies, you will help reduce the number of kittens born to stray cats and offer a chance for cats to receive vaccinations against disease and rabies.
